Junior East Auckland Series

The East Auckland Opti & Starling Series is an inter-club series between Howick Sailing Club, Glendowie Boating Club, Bucklands Beach Yacht Club and Maraetai Sailing Club.  Each Club will host a leg of the series. The series is designed to help develop junior sailing in the East Auckland area and provide friendly competition between the Clubs.  Although this is an inter-club competition, sailors from other Clubs are welcome but are unable to compete in the Inter-Club Cup.

(other junior/youth fleets allowed as long as 4 boats sail on the day to make a fleet)

The Optimist Green/Development fleet in this series is intended for development sailors.  Advanced/experienced Green fleet sailors are encouraged to enter into the Open fleet competition in this Series.
